The most tiring part (probably the fun part, compare to change diapers) of these few weeks is FEEDING.
As Kayden is on a 3hr schedule (meaning 8 feeds per 24 hrs), i'll need to wake up 3-hourly to feed him at night. I'm on "night shift". It's a torture to a blurry mummy like me... and sometme i just overslept. But his cries are the best alarm clock!
He will take about 30 mins to finish his 100ml milk and burp him. Sometime when Ka Man is around, he will help with one of the night feed. My mum will help out with the day feeds. Then i'm expressing my BM 6-hourly and one time about 40 mins. Looking at these schedule, i think i only get to sleep about 5 hours and i need more time to sleep.
My 24 hrs schedule:
- 12.00mn: Feeding 30 mins --> Expressing 40 mins
- 01.30am: Sleep abt 1.5hr (*)
- 03.00am: Feeding 30 mins --> Change Diaper 10 mins
- 03.50am: Sleep abt 2hrs (*)
- 06.00am: Feeding 30 mins --> Expressing 40 mins
- 07.30am: Sleep abt 1.5hr (*)
- 09.00am: Feeding 30 mins --> Change Diaper 10 mins
- 09.50am: Sleep abt 1hr (*)
- 11.00am: Wake up for the day --> Breakfast (maybe just go back to sleep)
- 12.00pm: Feeding 30mins --> Expressing 40 mins
- 01.30pm: Lunch --> Bathing Baby 30 mins
- 03.00pm: Feeding 30 mins --> Change Diaper 10 mins
- 03.50pm: Personal Time (Finally)
- 06.00pm: Feeding 30 mins --> Expressing 40 mins
- 07.30pm: Dinner
- 08.00pm: Wipe him with warm water and change his clothes and Diaper
- 09.00pm: Feeding 30 mins
- 09.30pm: Play with him to keep him awake and TV time
- 12.00mn: Repeat everything again...
He work hard for his milk, I also work hard to feed him milk!

Looks like your schedule is really hectic plus you are expressing BM. Bear with it for another 2 months. When Kayden is about 3 months old. Try to kick off his habit of drinking in the middle of the night. My ex colleague taught me this and it worked for my boy. She said most babies want to just suck something at night. So give them drink water instead. It will slowly kick off his habit of drinking milk in the middle of the night. However, for this to work, your last milk feed have to be after 9pm, so that your baby will not be too hungry the next morning. It will take some time for him to adapt. Hope this works for you too! Jia you!
