It's his 2nd doctor visit and my 1st gynae visit after birth. We have to reach Gleneagles Hospital about 9am for Kayden jaundice blood test again. He is sleeping so soundly after his morning feed at home.
The nurse took him in to draw blood for the test, we heard his screams after a few minutes. Then he is return to me with a loud burp and back to his dreamland. So cute!
Since we need to wait for the test results, we went over to Dr. Chris Chong Clinic for my checkup. I finally got to weight myself after birth. WOW... It's still 60kg! OMG! I've 8kg more to lose, to get back my pre-preg weight. I CAN DO IT! Give me time...
Dr. Chong check my wound and mentioned that i've probably walk too much these few days, the healing is ok but not nice. He offer to give me a silicone spray to improve the appearance of the scar. I told him i felt a bit of burning sensation when i pee. So he will get me to do a urine test for UTI.
We wanting to pay for our bills but the wait is long, so we told Claudia that we will come back after Kayden visit at Dr. Ng Clinic.
When we reached Dr. Ng's Clinic, the nurse need to take his naked weight again (to take off all his clothes, include diaper). It's 3.3kg! Such a surprise! He have regain his birth weight and the Jaundice test result came back to be at 163 (compare to the last visit at 248). Back to safe level! A very big relief for both of us...
We pay for his bill which cost us $108 then went back to Dr. Chong's clinic and pay for mine at $162. Such a costly visit for both of us.

Congratulations to Kayden! Good news!
Hey Karin, my mum taught me to use Dettol mix with warm water to wash the vaginal area. She said it will prevent infection. If you are not doing this, probably you can try.
