It's the last day of Year 2008. Happy time passes fast. The weather today is quite cold again, about 9ºC. We are all ready for the long day and night!

It's another "yum cha" day with the grandma of Ka Man, aka great-grandma of Kayden. And with a few more relatives. I'm still hoping that this session will end early so that can continue shopping. But my wish didn't came true. It start from 2pm till 5.30pm.
OMG! What to do... As said, this is not a holiday trip for us. It's a "meet-the-relatives" trip.
Then we went up to grandma's house. We left my mum there to enjoy her favorite hobby, MANJONG! 3 of us went out with Lai and his son to SHOPPING! HOORAY!
We took a train and went to Jusco. We brought quite a few more Tabo items. My best "collection" is a tabo lamp. So nice! Then we leave the place at about 8pm, just in time for dinner at home.
Waiting for the manjong players to clear up the table.The homecooked dinner is GREAT, better that eating outside. After the dinner, we leave the house. Kayden fall asleep while on the way to the train station. We then took a bus to go Tsim Sha Tsui (尖沙咀) for the big countdown and firework.

All of us are walking toward the Victoria habour area, but the road are blocked.

When the clock strike 12, there are cheers and we see no firework. Cos we are blocked by the tall building. SO DISAPPOINTED! So we took a train to the next stop.
Kayden finally wake up... after sleeping for "a year". His blur blur look!
Such a coincidence that we saw Auntie Lan Ee and hubby at the train station.
Then we got a "free ride" home when Aunt Lai realise that his brother will be there to pick his GF. HOORAY! We have smooth and easy ride home.
